I actually don't know much about that at all, but just a guess, what happens when you make a new save with that file? Like maybe it still says that because that's what it was when you saved it?
If that doesn't work, I am sure some around here will know in the next day or two.
(Did any new quests come up?)
When I create a new save with that file, of course, it will be in the latest version. However, at the same time, I feel like I have to start over, which makes me really reluctant, especially since I'm quite lazy.

I often replay, because I want to. But I am pretty sure you don't have any reason to start over. You are only two full updates back, being v0.5.9 and v0.5.9.5. The ones in between the .5 marks are bug fixes and minor updates.
Did you read the readme in the save folder? The developer himself says the saves are compatible. The v0.3.9.5 that he mentions was like three or four years ago, long before I started playing.
I had to first sleep with Nyra in the Chieftain hut in the evening. Only after that I was then able to trigger that event.

don’t worry your save may say 0.5.8.5a but if your playing the latest version your next save will say the latest version you saved it from

Make sure to grab the hot fix on this page, above your post, especially if you have already married Emily. The dresses aren't optional for the scene.

Are you not getting a new quest when you loaded your save, or are you having trouble completing the new quest?
If the former, you need to sleep with both Helena and Yasmine, if the later, you need the hotfix.
Here is plugin that can be used as an alternative to the cheatbook provided in game by Chyos and the other cheatbook provided by Heff_Wulf . This is a modified version of

Just copy the contents in this zip file into the www folder(Make a backup of the main.js file in your /www/js folder to easily revert back). To toggle the visibility of the cheat menu, press "crtl a". To change this, you will have to open up the bundle.js file in the /cheat/init/ folder and find toggleCheatModal: { shortcut: "ctrl a" }. Next to it, are all the remaining shortcuts available for you to use like crtl s/ctrl q for quicksave/quickload to slot 2. I even added a new shortcut called "MCRestoreAll" that fully restores the HP, stamina and hunger to max while setting lust to 0. still cant trigger new event already had sex with Helena and Yasmine many times only thing i can think of why its not working is i dont have athia yet

Athia's not related. Look for the hotfix posted above a few hours ago, it was a bug with Verena having already given you Emily's wedding dress.
